How to get there
From Madurai take the Batlagundu bypass and turn left to Pattiviranpatti. Take the uphill road to Thandikudi. Go up to Mangalamkombu village and turn left when you see a small sign board that reads “Tranquil Estate” on your right. A stretch of the drive to the property is very steep. The distance from Madurai is 120 km and Tiruchi 140 km.
Things to do
Trek to nearly Ponnumapillaimalai.
Do some bird watching either within the estate or at the Perumparai Environmental Centre.
Stroll around the estate.
Work out in the state of the art gym or simply laze in the lounge sipping endless cups of freshly brewed coffee.
Browse through the mini library.
Or, just relax in your rooms enveloped in greenery.
Tariff
Family suites (2) cost Rs. 4,500/- each and the deluxe rooms (6) Rs. 3,500/- each. An extra bed costs Rs. 1,500/-; the rates for a child ( 5 to 12 years) is Rs. 1,000/-. The tariff is inclusive of three meals.
